I grew up in the Pacific Northwest with a fathomless affection for a different time. I loved the Native American culture which surrounded me and read books about Medieval Pioneer, Colonial, Western, and Victorian times with a deep longing. I seemed to be from a different time and place and never really fit in with the other kids as they talked about the hip pop culture happenings and modern day news. I read, A LOT, and not only learned about all the time periods I loved so much, but also about the magical worlds of mythology and folklore. At a very young age I started creating and crafting based off of my many interests. There was nothing I didn’t love about arts and crafts and my passion for these times became a defining part of what I created.
I have many interests and hobbies and started this blog not only as a way to put all of them in one place, but to connect with others who love those same things. On this blog you will see the likes of: knitting, sewing, felting, dyeing, spinning and all other crafts, DIY tips, recipes, all things primitive, aromatherapy and natural remedies, canning, homesteading, and more!
I am so excited to embark on this blogging journey and look forward to meeting you and being a part of the blogging community! Thank you again for being part of this journey, I look forward to connecting with you!
